EzzyGuide tours app
Building on an existing specification, we designed the UX of a tours app together with its user interface (UI).

- 2-person UX/UI team
- 30+ app mockups
- clickable prototype
- workshop

Key goals and challenges
The client’s main goal was to build a tours app that would support their business of selling guided tours across the Polish mountains. The app is meant to connect licensed guides with their target audience.
MVP
We took an MVP approach, focusing on testing the app prototype at the low-fidelity mockup stage.
Two account types
It was very important to the client to deliver two account types. One for licensed guides. The other for people interested in buying tours.
Supporting the business
The app was meant to support an existing, traditional business of selling guided mountain tours. Our job was to digitalise that business.

Design process
For this project we chose a design process based on user research from the very early low-fidelity mockup stage.
Workshop
During the meeting with the client we worked out a business strategy with the EzzyGuide app at its core. The app was meant to digitalise the sale of tours on the Polish market and, in doing so, get ahead of the competition. That became the main goal of this project.
Low-fidelity mockups
With our goals set, we built low-fidelity mockups that answered the needs of two target groups: licensed guides and the people using their services. Both groups can create an account. The first one adds tours; the second can sign up for them.
UX research
The mockups, in the form of a clickable prototype, were tested with both target groups. Based on the conclusions we drew, we rolled out new solutions and reworked the existing ones.
Interface design
With finished, tested mockups in hand, we could move on to the interface. We went for strong contrast and red to make the product stand out on the market. Our UX agency also created the company’s branding along the way.
