Entertainment
We design OTT platforms, ticketing apps, theme-park services and event aggregators. We work with a complex content catalogue, recommendations, SVOD/AVOD/TVOD monetisation and ticketing peak load - where the first 90 seconds decide the season.
We have worked with leading companies and startups
Challenges
A viewer chooses in seconds and buys a ticket in the minute sales open
-
„The catalogue is dense, and the viewer still ends up with what they already know.”
Audit of the catalogue architecture, redesign of navigation and search, design of recommendations (similar, because-you-watched, trending), validation with the viewer in their natural viewing environment.
-
„The ticket on-sale takes the system down at exactly the moment everyone is watching.”
Audit of the purchase journey for peak load, redesign of the shortest possible path (guest → ticket → payment), idempotency, design of a virtual queue and sale-status messaging.
-
„Online and offline live apart - the customer buys in the app and starts over on site.”
Workflow research with on-site staff and the audience, design of multi-system integration (ticket/wristband, hotel, food, spa, payment), a consistent UX from booking to leaving the venue.
Who it is for
OTT, ticketing, attractions - three models, one promise to the audience
Whatever the format - we hand over the design in a format readable for the development team, with documentation of multi-system integration (CMS, billing, ticketing, payment provider).
-
OTT streaming and VOD platforms
SVOD / AVOD / TVOD services, Smart TV apps (Tizen, webOS, AndroidTV, tvOS), mobile companions. Catalogue architecture, recommendations, cross-device continuity of viewing, ad or subscription monetisation.
-
Ticketing and events
Ticket-sales services for concerts, cinema and theatre, cultural-event aggregators, mobile apps for the audience. The specifics: peak load in the first minutes of sale, short journeys, payment idempotency.
-
Theme parks and tourist attractions
E-commerce services for theme parks, ticketing kiosks, online-with-offline integrations (wristband, hotel, spa, food, age restrictions). They withstand seasonal and holiday traffic spikes.
Process
Five steps - from the first conversation to post-launch measurement
We scale scope to the product. For OTT platforms the emphasis is on catalogue, recommendations and Smart TV. For ticketing - on peak load and shortening the purchase journey. For events / theme parks - on integrating online with offline (bookings, accommodation, wristband, payment).
- 30 min
Discovery call - 30 minutes
Online, with the lead designer. We get to know the product, the metrics you judge it by, and the regulatory context it operates in.
- Week 1–2
Audit and discovery
Analytics, session recordings, user interviews, heuristic review. The barriers people actually hit become design hypotheses.
- Week 3–6
UX/UI design
Wireframes, a prototype you can click through, the final interface. Documentation written for the team that will ship it - tokens, states and responsive behaviour included.
- Week 6–7
Validation
Tests with real users, or an A/B test in production. The design changes on the strength of what we saw, before it reaches code.
- After launch
Delivery and care
We work side by side with your developers - implementation review, fixes, additions to the library. After launch we measure and come back with the next hypotheses.

Client voices
What our clients say
-
„Working with the Wzór team was a genuinely great experience! They always answered our questions quickly and were flexible about our comments. They have no shortage of creative ideas and are at the same time thoroughly reliable and on time. The end result fully met our expectations; we recommend them to anyone looking for professionals who care.”
Maja Wieloch-Silecka Operations Director, Bosfor Group -
„Our clients expect us to act fast and effectively across a very wide scope - from building a brand, through a website with a store, to running an effective sales campaign. Not an easy task, but doable when you have a tight-knit team and partners who take on challenges on the fly. For us, quality, accountability and commitment are key, and working with UX Agency Wzór gives us that 100%.”
Piotr Alberski Chief Operating Officer, Agencja XO Media -
„Our cooperation with UX Agency Wzór started with our own website. We really liked the way they work, so we decided to subcontract projects for our clients to them on a White Label basis. We loved their workflow, the way they hand projects over to our team, their documentation and their work on the design system. Now we can take on bigger risks.”
Mateusz Swół Chief Operating Officer, Sellace

FAQ
Questions that come up most often
Do you design Smart TV apps?
Yes - OTT apps on Tizen, webOS, AndroidTV and tvOS, in one design system with the mobile and web versions. The specifics: remote instead of touch, 10-foot UI, limited gestures, continuity of viewing (resume watching) across devices.
How do you design for peak load at the sales start?
The purchase journey is as short as possible (idempotent, completable after a refresh). We design a virtual queue with clear status, sale-state messaging (available, last few, sold out), and cart reset as a safe exit. On the development side we work with the team on cloud architecture and caching.
Do you cover monetisation - SVOD, AVOD, TVOD?
Yes - conversion-flow design for subscriptions (SVOD), in-stream / pre-roll ads (AVOD), single-title rentals (TVOD) or a hybrid model. A/B testing of paywalls and conversion moments, viewer segmentation (anonymous / registered / paid).
Do you work with theme parks and tourist attractions?
Yes - e-commerce services for parks, ticketing kiosks (high-contrast with large touch targets), apps for the audience with wristband/ticket integration. We design in the context of ticketing + hotel + spa + food + payment integration.
