# Fashion & Accessories

[Free consultation](https://wzor.biz/en/free-consultation/) [Projects](https://wzor.biz/en/projects/)

We design stores for apparel, jewellery and optical brands, configurators for personalised products and multi-market platforms. We work with stock that rotates every season, campaigns that live for one weekend and a returns rate that decides the margin.

We have worked with leading companies and startups

Challenges

## Size, framing and campaign consistency decide how much stock comes back

- „Returns eat the margin because customers order three sizes and keep one.”

UX audit of the product page, redesign of size tables and advisory mechanisms (size advisor, fit advisor, foot scanning), prototype validation. We measure the returns rate and carts with multiple sizes of the same product.

- „The categories look full, and the customer still writes that they found nothing.”

Audit of information architecture and taxonomy for 20,000+ SKUs, redesign of filters, sorting and search, unification of PDP copy. No hiding data behind sliders and numbers instead of names.

- „Every campaign brings its own layout and the store has stopped looking like one brand.”

Design of a campaign layer (microsites, landing pages, banners, carousels) separated from the main purchase journey. A design system for a brand house with multiple brands, a component system for the marketing team.

Who it is for

## Brand, retailer, configurator - three models, one size problem

Whatever the segment - we hand over the design in a format readable for the team implementing integrations with PIM, ERP, OMS and merchandising tools.

- ### Apparel brand and D2C stores

Own-brand stores (streetwear, premium, modest fashion), multi-designer showroom platforms, store redesigns that must preserve the brand’s visual character. The specifics: product copy, photography, seasonal campaign carousel, pop-ups that don’t sabotage the purchase.

- ### Multi-market platforms for retailers

One e-commerce core scaled to several European markets (currency, language, offer, consumer regulations). A taxonomy of 20,000+ products, including 5–10k rotating each season. Microsites for marketing campaigns and collaborations with third-party brands.

- ### Eyewear, footwear and jewellery configurators

Configurators for personalised products - frames + lenses, made-to-order shoes, engraved jewellery. Virtual try-ons, size-selection advisors (foot scanning, body measurement), presentation of finish variants, integration with a materials catalogue.

Process

## Five steps - from the first conversation to post-launch measurement

We scale scope to the product. For D2C brands the emphasis is on brand storytelling and personalisation. For a multi-market retailer - on taxonomy, price localisation and campaign merchandising. For optical and jewellery - on the configurator and the product-personalisation journey.

1. 30 min

    ### Discovery call - 30 minutes

Online, with the lead designer. We get to know the product, the metrics you judge it by, and the regulatory context it operates in.

2. Week 1–2

    ### Audit and discovery

Analytics, session recordings, user interviews, heuristic review. The barriers people actually hit become design hypotheses.

3. Week 3–6

    ### UX/UI design

Wireframes, a prototype you can click through, the final interface. Documentation written for the team that will ship it - tokens, states and responsive behaviour included.

4. Week 6–7

    ### Validation

Tests with real users, or an A/B test in production. The design changes on the strength of what we saw, before it reaches code.

5. After launch

    ### Delivery and care

We work side by side with your developers - implementation review, fixes, additions to the library. After launch we measure and come back with the next hypotheses.

FAQ

## Questions that come up most often

Do you design for Shopify Plus, Magento and Salesforce Commerce?

Yes - we adapt to the platform. Shopify Plus we design with sections and blocks in mind (custom Liquid), Magento - for Hyvä or Adobe Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce - for the cartridge system. Centra, BigCommerce and custom headless - also in scope. Documentation handed over in a format readable for your development team.

Do you work with fit advisory, size advisor and AR try-on?

Yes - we design size-selection journeys based both on classic tables and height/weight recommendations and on advanced solutions (foot scanning, AR try-on for frames and jewellery). We measure value by the drop in returns, not the tool’s adoption rate alone.

How do you handle a catalogue of 20,000+ products and seasonal rotation?

We start taxonomy design with interviews with category managers and an analysis of traffic on the current store. We build a flexible architecture (categories, subcategories, seasonal collections, capsules) where adding a new collection doesn’t require changing the structure. We also unify the editorial guidelines for the product page so thousands of descriptions don’t live their own lives.

Do you cover multi-market stores and language versions?

Yes - we have experience with platforms serving five or more European markets from one core. Localisation isn’t just language - it’s also differences in offer, currencies, seasons, consumer regulations (e.g. extended right of return in DE) and payment channels. We design alongside your merchandising team, not next to it.
