# Education

[Free consultation](https://wzor.biz/en/free-consultation/) [Projects](https://wzor.biz/en/projects/)

We design EdTech apps, LMS platforms, university services and tools for teachers. We research the student together with the parent (and separately), and design for the long usage cycle - a semester, a year, a whole stage of education - not a demo week.

We have worked with leading companies and startups

Challenges

## The result comes down to whether the student returns in week five and the teacher gets their hours back

- „A course starts full and a few weeks later a handful are left.”

Motivation research with students and parents, audit of the learning journey, redesign of onboarding and retention mechanics (streak, progress, social), validation with diary studies.

- „We recruit students from abroad and they get lost on our site before they reach the form.”

Multi-year information architecture (faculties, programmes, specialisations), language versions, the international applicant journey from first visit to signing the contract. WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.

- „Teachers say outright that they spend more time clicking through the system than teaching.”

Workflow research with teachers at school, redesign of critical screens (grades, attendance, parent communication), integration with the class register. We measure task time.

Who it is for

## EdTech, universities, LMS - three worlds, one student under time pressure

Whatever the segment - we hand over the design in a format readable for the implementation team, with accessibility documentation ready for public-sector accessibility law and the European Accessibility Act.

- ### EdTech B2C - apps and platforms for students

Language-learning apps, exam-prep platforms, tools linking print textbooks with digital, exercises with AI/Voice UI. The specifics: motivation, a long usage cycle, two decision-making personas (student + parent).

- ### University and school platforms (B2B)

Higher-education websites, virtual-university apps (grades, timetable, tuition, library), admissions portals (including for international students). The specifics: complex multi-faculty information architecture, WCAG 2.1 AA, language versions.

- ### LMS and tools for teachers

Learning management systems, panels for teachers and lecturers (tests, grades, parent communication), B2B training platforms with course e-commerce. The specifics: admin time, progress reporting, integrations with the electronic class register.

Process

## Five steps - from the first conversation to post-launch measurement

We scale scope to the product. For EdTech B2C the emphasis is on motivation and the long usage cycle. For university platforms - on admissions, study administration, and the clarity of an international offer. For teacher tools - on shortening admin time.

1. 30 min

    ### Discovery call - 30 minutes

Online, with the lead designer. We get to know the product, the metrics you judge it by, and the regulatory context it operates in.

2. Week 1–2

    ### Audit and discovery

Analytics, session recordings, user interviews, heuristic review. The barriers people actually hit become design hypotheses.

3. Week 3–6

    ### UX/UI design

Wireframes, a prototype you can click through, the final interface. Documentation written for the team that will ship it - tokens, states and responsive behaviour included.

4. Week 6–7

    ### Validation

Tests with real users, or an A/B test in production. The design changes on the strength of what we saw, before it reaches code.

5. After launch

    ### Delivery and care

We work side by side with your developers - implementation review, fixes, additions to the library. After launch we measure and come back with the next hypotheses.

FAQ

## Questions that come up most often

Do you run research with children and teenagers?

Yes - in-depth interviews in teenager + parent pairs (and separately), testing with younger students assisted by a guardian, classroom research with the school’s consent. We work in line with GDPR for minors’ data, passing surveys and consents to the parent.

Do you design for WCAG for universities and the public sector?

Yes - public universities and schools are required to meet accessibility law (WCAG 2.1 AA + an accessibility statement). We design accessible services and apps from the start, and finish audits with an accessibility report ready for publication.

Do you cover integration with an LMS and the electronic class register?

Yes - we design in the context of integration with Moodle, Canvas, Open edX, and electronic class registers. We account for the SCORM / xAPI standard in course-material design when the client requires it.

Do you work with both EdTech B2C and the schooling sector?

Yes - we have experience with both. EdTech B2C requires working with motivation, a long usage cycle and two decision-making personas (student + parent). Public schooling - working with accessibility rigour, clear official language and four-handed administration.
